A true friend can say things that no one else could get away with saying.
Why? Because "the friendship" isn't as important as the friend.
We all need people that will risk losing our friendship to call us on the carpet about some attitude or behavior that is damaging to us.
The church is the place where lifelong friendships emerge. Do you have a truly godly friend?
If not, God has a friendship that will bless your life and it's likely that you will discover this friendship in a local church.
A healthy New Testament church will have Christian fellowship built into it.
It isn't a forced thing but a natural bi-product of a biblical community.
At Calvary Chapel our people come early and stay late to talk out what the Lord is doing in their lives. If you don't have a friend, come be one with us and watch what happens next!
I would not be a pastor today, if it weren't for a friend that took the time to get to know me in a home bible study 20 years ago.
Thanks Steve, you've made all the difference my brother.
